About us
What is Booknolia?
Booknolia is a social network built around books, readers and authors.
Readers join Booknolia to share their individualized reading experiences, meet like-minded friends, join book clubs and reading circles, and gain access to a wealth of content about their next great book.
Authors join Booknolia to promote their books, interact with their fans, and share their thoughts and bookshelves with the community. Authors will be able to interact with other authors, purchase ads, and cross-sell their works across the community.
Who are we?
We are book lovers who have problems finding like-minded friends and our next great books.
| Parham: | A self proclaimed “Birdwalker”, who is having a hard time getting into fiction books, Apple stuff, and Facebook. |
| Touraj: | Barrista Intenso as he wants to be called, Touraj makes the most strong coffee one can imagine. He is leading our author relations and content partnership. |
| Francis: | A “real” hiker who did Pacific Crest Trail, Appalachian Trail, and Continental Divide Trail. Also author of “Hike Your Own Hike”. He is helping us with our business development. |
| Vincent: | Our one of the kind Java architect and developer. He helped us getting off the ground. |
| Hamid: | aka Alchemystique and dream interpreter, is helping us with our UI (user interface), graphic, and web pages. |
| Jyotsna: | A quality assurance and testing maven! She is full time mom and a computer engineer who works from 6pm to 2am. She is simply the best! |
| Beth: | A bookworm and a real researcher. She is always a week ahead of us. Another great team member! She helped us with our initial authors, books, and book lists (aka BookRoll) |
| David: | Marketing guru and ping-pong fanatic, David speaks as fast as Steinbrenner (George’s boss in Seinfeld). |
